Following a seafood dinner, both LeBlanc and his girlfriend, Natalie Clark, were infected with Vibrio vulnificus.

LeBlanc came close to death, spending several days in the ICU alongside his girlfriend.

They were hospitalized for twelve days, with eight of those days in the ICU, fighting for their lives. When LeBlanc regained consciousness, his girlfriend had already passed away, as he shared on Instagram.

“We ate oysters and were both sick for a few days. The next morning I woke up and she was gone,” LeBlanc shared in a post.

In another post featuring their travels together, the content creator reminisced about the joyful times they shared.

“I’ll never forget how we got lost together everywhere.” I’ll love and miss her forever.

“Be safe and hold your loved ones tight, you never know when it’ll be the last time you see them.”

LeBlanc’s mother posted a heartfelt tribute on Facebook to honor her son’s late girlfriend.

Natalie passed away, and Billy was critically ill for eight days in the ICU. “Please keep praying for Billy’s health and his heart, as well as for Natalie’s son Julian and her family,” she expressed.

Approximately 80,000 cases of Vibrio vulnificus are contracted annually from consuming raw seafood, according to the CDC.
