The Walgreens at 2829 Division Avenue in Wyoming will be closing next Thursday, Nov. 9.

Kris Lathan, a spokesperson for Walgreens, explained that several factors were considered in making this decision. These included the number of stores currently operating in the Wyoming area, local market dynamics, shifts in community buying habits, and other elements to ensure the company maintains “the right network of stores in the right locations.”

Patients who use the pharmacy at this location will be notified about where their prescription files will be transferred, allowing them to continue accessing their medications without taking any action. Additionally, Lathan mentioned that Walgreens is making efforts to relocate the employees from this store to nearby locations.
